"Fear Not" Workshop
Save the Date: November 14, 2026. Hosted by District 15b (Pickens, Fannin, Gilmer). Doors open 10:00 AM, workshop starts 10:30 AM, followed by lunch at noon. Location: The George Link, Jr. Gilmer Arts Playhouse, 135 Dalton St, Ellijay, GA 30540. Presenter: Vic S, Trinity Group Member with 44 years of sobriety, Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Master Addiction Counselor, and National Certified Counselor. Fear is a central theme in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, addressing fear not only as a symptom of alcoholism, but as a root cause of destructive behaviors and a barrier to recovery and spiritual growth. If you or someone you know struggles with anxiety or is stuck on a 'hamster wheel of worry,' this workshop is for you. Lunch and fellowship will immediately follow.
