HomeGroup is already installed
You're using the installed app already — nothing more to do here. Look for the HomeGroup icon on your home screen.
Install HomeGroup
Add HomeGroup to your home screen so it opens like a normal app — one tap, no browser bar, and it works offline for pages you've already visited.
On your Android phone
If the Install HomeGroup button above appeared, tap it — that's the whole thing. Otherwise, in Chrome tap the menu (⋮), then Install app (or Add to Home Screen).
Using Samsung Internet, Firefox, or another browser? Look for Add page to or Add to Home screen in its menu instead — the wording varies by browser.
On your computer
If the Install HomeGroup button above appeared, tap it. In Chrome or Edge you can also use the install icon at the end of the address bar, or the browser menu.
Firefox and Safari on a computer don't support installing HomeGroup this way — bookmark the page instead, or switch to Chrome or Edge.
On your iPhone or iPad
- Tap the Share button in the toolbar (in Safari and Chrome alike — not a menu).
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add in the top-right corner.

On your iPhone or iPad (Chrome)
Look for the Share button — not the ⋮ menu. That's where people get stuck: Chrome's "Add to Home Screen" lives behind Share, same as Safari.
- Tap the Share button in Chrome's toolbar.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add.

On your iPhone or iPad (Firefox)
Firefox on iPhone/iPad doesn't reliably support adding a site to your home screen.
Paste it into Safari, then tap the Share button and choose Add to Home Screen.
